I already have an account, but my username and password don't work. What do I do?
As you can tell, we have a brand new Web site that's more streamlined and user-friendly than ever. This means you will need to reset your password. (You can use your old password or create a new one.)
Here’s how to do it:
1) Click here, or click the blue “Log In” icon on the left side this page.
2) Choose the “Request New Password” tab on top of the page. Enter the email address you use for your WQ subscription.
3) When you receive an email from the WQ, simply click on the link and reset your password.
4) Click “Save” at the bottom of the page, and you are done.
I can't get a regular subscription in the shopping card with a PDF, Gift Subscription, or Back Issue. Why not?
Regular subscriptions (Yearly and All Access) cannot currently be in the same transaction as back issues, PDF's, and gift subscriptions. We apologize for any inconvenience.
I have a problem with a subscription I purchased from Apple, Amazon, Google, or Barnes & Noble. Can you help?
Sorry, we can’t. Those providers don’t give us any information about people who have subscribed on their platforms and we have no access to their customer service departments.
Why is my subscription not showing up on my iPad/Kindle/Nook/Android device?
Subscriptions are not transferable across platforms because they are purchased from different vendors (e.g. Apple, Amazon, Google, or Barnes & Noble). If you purchased a subscription directly from The Wilson Quarterly, you will receive a downloadable PDF version of the issue that you can read on your computer or tablet, along with access to the gated Web version of the issue. You can also upgrade your subscription to include access to the WQ’s archives. Access to the archives is not available through any of the other vendors.
I used to have a print subscription—why can’t I access the current issue and archives?
As The Wilson Quarterly has issued its last print edition, the remainder of your print subscription is being fulfilled by the magazine Pacific Standard. Former print subscribers will need to purchase separate digital subscriptions to receive the digital WQ.
Where is the new issue?
The Wilson Quarterly publishes new issues in January, April, July, and October. Subscribers will receive an email from the Quarterly when a new issue becomes available. We also announce new publications via Twitter and Facebook.
How do I unsubscribe from the Wilson Quarterly newsletter and other WQ communications?
At the bottom of the e-newsletter, click on the “Safe Unsubscribe” button and verify the e-mail address with which you’d like to unsubscribe. If you would like to opt out of all communications from the WQ, please e-mail at wq@wilsoncenter.org.
Does the Wilson Quarterly offer subscriptions to institutions such as libraries and universities?
Yes, the WQ offers institutional access on a case-by-case basis. For more information, please contact Suzanne Napper at (202) 691-4021 or Suzanne.napper@wilsoncenter.org.
May I submit a manuscript for publication in The Wilson Quarterly?
The editors welcome essay submissions in all subject areas covered by the magazine, from foreign and domestic affairs to science and the arts. Essays generally do not exceed 5,000 words and do not include footnotes. Please e-mail submissions to wq@wilsoncenter.org.
How do I retrieve my username and password?
On the user account sign-in page, please select the “Request new password” tab and enter your e-mail address. You will receive a new password via email. If you have forgotten your username, please email wq@wilsoncenter.org.
What is the best way to contact the Wilson Quarterly?
Please e-mail us at wq@wilsoncenter.org. We have very small staff, so we ask for your patience as we respond to your query.
