Welcome to The Wilson Quarterly and your membership in The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars!

We provide this guide to introduce you to all the benefits of membership and ensure that you receive the best possible service with your subscription and membership. We hope it will be useful for old friends and new members alike.

• Subscription to the award-winning Wilson Quarterly magazine (4 issues per year).

• Membership card to be used for discounts at the Smithsonian museum shops, communicating with membership services, and admission to Wilson Center events.

• Online Archives—Our newly expanded archive (over 30 years’ worth for your reading and researching enjoyment).

• Access to Wilson Center Reports and Events—Come and visit the Wilson Center when you happen to be in Washington, D.C. • Wilson Center Update—Sign up for the email newsletter from The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, so you won’t miss any lectures or webcasts. Go to the Wilson Center website, click on “Publications”, and sign up in the space provided.

• Wilson Center members qualify for discounts on Smithsonian books, and gift items, purchased at the Smithsonian Museums in Washington, D.C. If the salesperson at the Smithsonian is unfamiliar with the discount for our subscribers, have them contact Suzanne Napper, Business Director for the WQ, at 202-691-4021.

WQ Online Archives

Our online archive is available to subscribers and to those who pay for access. To access the complete archive you must create a username and password. To register:

1) Click the word “register” at the top right of the website. You will be asked to create your own username and password.
You will need your WQ subscriber number, which is “WQXXXXXX” WQ and six numbers which you can find on the issue label (which you may have already thrown away) and on any WQ billing/renewal correspondence.

2) Finding your WQ account number: You may find your WQ customer number by going to the online Customer Service section. Click View Your Account, select the second option Login Using My Delivery Address, and input the address in as exact a match to your subscription label as possible (if you use initials on your subscription use them here or it won’t find you. If the street is West 14th Street and it won’t let you in, try W. 14th Street) If you can’t get in, call the toll-free number and custom service will give you the account number. Then create your unique username and password, click the Archive button, and away you go. You should now have full access.

To Login: Once you have registered and created your username and password…you need only click on the word “Login” to access the archive and your personal subscriber page.

To Change Your Address: Login to the webpage with your userID and password…go to Customer Service and click Change your Address. You may also send your address change by mail to our circulation department (address on back). Please send your old address AND new address so that we can find your record.

Missing or Damaged Issues: The WQ is published 4 times a year—in January, April, July and October. If you haven’t received the issue by the end of the issue month or it arrives damaged, just notify us and we will either replace the issue, if our supply permits, or extend your subscription to compensate.

Give a Gift, Renew, Pay Invoice: use www.WilsonQuarterly.com under customer service or choose WQ Shop for multiple purchases. (e.g. back issues, gift sub, and a mug in one transaction). You may also fill out a gift subscription card in the magazine or call the toll-free number at 1-800-829-5108.

Order Back Issues/Bulk Issues: You may order a list of back issues online or send a check and issues requested to Suzanne Napper at the address below. Single copies cost $9.00 in US and $12.00 to foreign addresses (this includes shipping). Please allow three weeks for regular orders. For rush orders or bulk purchases (for classrooms, discussion groups, corporate events) please call Suzanne Napper at 202-691-4021 for cost and details.
